This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Formulate and implement a comprehensive business strategy for an extensive geographical region.
• Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Interact with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and various healthcare professionals across numerous medical specialties.
• Conduct visits to physician offices, hospital pharmacies, operating rooms, intensive care units, and other relevant locations.
• Deliver clear communications in complex clinical contexts.
• Undertake regular field visits with internal team members, including management and marketing personnel.
• Leverage data sources to enhance strategies, improve efficiencies, and optimize return on investment.
• Meet or surpass designated sales and profit objectives.
• Manage and maintain territory-specific data using a CRM system.
• Travel as necessary within the territory, including air travel.
• Complete other miscellaneous job responsibilities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales.
• Proven ability to work autonomously while managing key account relationships.
• Demonstrated sales growth while overseeing your own territory.
• Established record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong business acumen and an ability to understand complex clinical information.
• Proficient in articulating intricate clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real-time scenarios.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation capabilities, including the ability to address teams/groups effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and virtual engagement skills.
• Experience with CRM tools, such as Veeva or Salesforce.
• Ability to work independently as part of a team.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Keen attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Successful credentialing with healthcare institutions and third-party credentialing vendors; candidates must maintain required credentialing throughout employment.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Must frequently stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.
• Occasional climbing of stairs and/or using elevators may be required.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Capable of manipulating a keyboard, operating a telephone, and using handheld devices.
