Installation Program/Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and coordinate plans for Installation Stage testing and System Operational Verification Testing (SOVT).

• Support the Fleet Modernization Branch Manager in the development of Stage Testing and SOVT plans.

• Create testing frameworks for key events and milestones related to V6 and V7 shipboard installations.

• Participate in or lead working groups focused on test plans and procedures.

• Coordinate teams for testing both shipboard and shore-site operations.

• Ensure effective tasking for Shipcheck, funding, SIDs delivery milestones, and installation planning support.

• Review execution reports from the Planning Yard shipcheck and provide constructive recommendations.

• Facilitate communication with Regional Maintenance Centers and SURFMEPP concerning repairs.

• Engage in design development, TDP reviews, meetings, and events across programs.

• Offer technical input for LARs/RLARs and guidance for resolving installation issues.

• Evaluate work specifications from RMC and Third Parties related to Advance Planning.

• Advise Installation and Program Managers on potential risks and mitigations.

• Collaborate with Planning Yard representatives to address installation challenges.

• Work alongside ISEA, OSR, and OSIC to clarify work item requirements.

• Prepare instructions and justifications for Requests for Contract Change.

• Coordinate readiness for execution in advance planning activities.

• Review contractor reports and in-process availability updates.

• Contribute to cost estimates and contract change assessments.

• Collaborate with ISEA personnel on planning and executing alterations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

• Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
