This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.
• Conduct inspections and sampling in accordance with the Inspection Order, procedures, operational instructions, and SGS guidelines under the supervision of the responsible individual in charge.
• Keep the Lead Inspector, Coordinator, or Project Leader informed about the progress of the inspection.
• Participate in the opening and closing meetings of the service.
• Prepare inspection-related documents, if applicable.
• Notify the Lead Inspector, Operations Coordinator / Project Coordinator, Account Executive, or Project Leader about any non-conformities during the inspection to implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance in submitting reports of operational and/or travel expenses, as well as service deliverables, information synchronization, and other matters agreed upon in the opening and closing meetings, according to the agreed-upon days.
• Report on monitoring equipment and vehicles that require maintenance observations or calibrations assigned to an inspection order, and ensure that all resources assigned to the service return in good condition.
• Engage in the 5-Minute Talks.
• Complete the Preliminary Risk Analysis (APR) form before starting work.
• Generate a monthly report of substandard acts and/or conditions in Intelex.
• Bachelor’s degree or Technical qualification in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology, or related fields.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience in environmental monitoring.
• Availability to work in rotating shifts.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license A1 (for at least 3 years) or A2b (for at least 2 years).
• Basic proficiency in Office applications.
