This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Perform technical site visits to validate information related to environmental licensing applications, based on the technical studies and projects under evaluation.
• Collaborate in teams of two professionals.
• Generate Field Reports utilizing a standardized template.
• Execute technical analyses and evaluations of applications in the field.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Biology, Geography, Geology, Ecology, or a related discipline within the Environmental Sciences.
• Proven experience in conducting technical analyses and evaluations of applications in the field.
• Familiarity with terrain, soils, water resources, geology, geomorphology, and the environmental characteristics of the region.
• Understanding of Amazonian ecosystems and vegetation physiognomies.
• Knowledge of vegetation, plant cover, and the primary formations present in the state of Pará.
• Awareness of regional fauna and the capacity to identify pertinent evidence during inspections.
• Insight into land-use patterns, local and traditional communities, economic activities, and socio-environmental dynamics.
• Familiarity with environmental licensing and relevant environmental legislation.
• Competence in conducting environmental surveys and field-based evaluations.
• Experience in preparing technical inspection reports, photographic documentation, and technical opinions.
• Willingness to travel and engage in frequent fieldwork.
• Must be a resident of the state of Pará.
