Trade Customs Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Produce corrections to entries based on requests from clients and the team while adhering to Customs deadlines.

• Track corrections to ensure the necessary refunds are obtained from Customs.

• Address and resolve regulatory errors on behalf of clients.

• Utilize trade applications and software for the analysis of import and export data.

• Stay informed and responsive to evolving priorities of clients, US Customs, regulatory bodies, and management.

• Investigate missing or incomplete documents and information with suppliers, carriers, and clients.

• Handle and respond to client inquiries and requests effectively.

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including Livingston employees, clients, brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.

• Participate in the development and enhancement of processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge in one or more areas such as classification, brokerage import/export operations, restricted party screening, special trade programs, reconciliation, post-entry claims, and vendor performance management.

• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to identify issues and escalate them as needed.

• Skill in prioritizing and managing tasks to meet deadlines.

• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Positive attitude with a flexible approach.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
