This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Conduct thorough research on potential school districts, educational leaders, funding options, and market trends to pinpoint promising sales prospects.
• Implement outbound initiatives via phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and other communication channels.
• Interact with district administrators, CTE leaders, curriculum directors, and other key decision-makers.
• Create qualified meetings and new business prospects for the external sales team.
• Design tailored outreach strategies based on district needs, workforce demands, programs, funding, and implementation possibilities.
• Oversee assigned prospects and early-stage opportunities through consistent follow-ups and clear next steps.
• Collaborate with external sales team members to assess needs, prepare for meetings and presentations, coordinate follow-ups, and push opportunities forward.
• Organize proposals, agreements, and sales documentation efficiently.
• Keep precise opportunity records and activity updates in Salesforce.
• Participate in pipeline evaluations and forecasting by providing timely updates.
• Assist with selected renewal and expansion opportunities through research, outreach, meetings, proposals, and follow-ups.
• Gradually take charge of selected renewal and expansion opportunities from discovery to closure.
• Work together with outside sales, AI Program Managers, and internal teams on opportunity strategies, customer communications, and implementation transitions.
• Relay prospect feedback, market insights, and emerging opportunities to enhance sales messaging, processes, and strategies.
• Enhance outreach, communication, and opportunity management practices through coaching, performance metrics, feedback, and teamwork.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Preferred experience in SaaS, EdTech, or K–12 sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to communicate clearly, authentically, and professionally with school and district leaders.
• Skill in establishing credibility, building trust, and maintaining productive relationships.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Capability to manage multiple prospects, opportunities, deadlines, and follow-up tasks effectively.
• Enthusiasm for developing expertise in AI, workforce development, K–12 education, and consultative sales.
• Comfortable operating within a structured sales framework.
• Ability to keep accurate and timely CRM records.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is preferred.
• Proactive, reliable, and willing to take responsibility for outcomes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, team-oriented sales environment.
• Commitment to honest communication and respectful treatment of customers and colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
