Inside Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, coordinate, and oversee quotes within the designated region.

• Collaborate with regional sales managers, customer service representatives, engineers, product managers, application designers, and procurement teams.

• Offer customer and product assistance to architects, lighting designers, electrical distributors, representative agencies, and end users.

• Produce quotes for both standard and custom lighting solutions and manage sample coordination.

• Partner with the application design team to ensure the timely completion of designs and delivery of quotes.

• Provide product pricing and availability information through phone and email communications.

• Exhibit a thorough understanding of the functions, features, and advantages of the company's product lineup.

• Support Sales with quotations and project management to enhance response times and boost sales.

• Evaluate drawings and documentation to ascertain system functionality and associated costs.

• Create cross-over quotes for products.

• Oversee and manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Foster effective relationships with Outside Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Engineering to optimize the quoting process.

• Assist PureEdge Representative Agencies and Regional Sales Managers in identifying solutions and promoting the specification of PureEdge products.

• Act as a knowledgeable resource for product specifications and substitutions.

• Aid in problem resolution during the completion of transactions.

• Review quotes, documents, and purchase orders to ensure accurate and precise ordering of lighting products.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in quoting and/or sales estimation is required.

• Experience in the lighting or manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software is an advantage.

• Experience or knowledge in reading blueprints and construction drawings is preferred.

• Must be detail-oriented with excellent time management abilities.

• Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Knowledgeable in Excel.

• A bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk while working on a computer.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
