Inside Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Communicate with homeowners and contractors via phone or video calls.

• Inquire about the property, project specifics, comfort requirements, and budgetary constraints.

• Utilize design software to create suitable system recommendations.

• Articulate technical concepts in simple, everyday language.

• Assist customers in comparing costs, comfort levels, efficiency, aesthetics, installation complexity, and long-term value.

• Provide recommendations based on the customer's priorities.

• Address any questions or concerns that may hinder the customer from proceeding.

• Follow up with customers and steer qualified leads towards making a purchase.

• Prepare precise design summaries to ensure accurate order finalization.

• Balance sales achievements with design quality and the overall customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in consultative sales, inside sales, customer success, project consulting, or other customer-facing roles.

• Willingness to learn about technical products.

• Proficient in guiding conversations and requesting decisions.

• Ability to simplify technical information while maintaining its essence.

• Strong listening skills paired with thoughtful recommendations.

• Organizational capabilities in managing multiple options or project details.

• Accountability for follow-up actions and results.

• Comfortable with software tools and eager to learn new technologies.

• Familiarity with HVAC, home improvement, appliances, construction products, building materials, technical products, or other significant purchases is advantageous but not mandatory.
