
Inside Sales – Automation Consumables

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.
• Drive sales opportunities through both inside and online channels for automation consumables.
• Provide quotations, assess customer needs, and proactively address those requirements.
• Develop and sustain customer relationships with both purchasing and end-user contacts within the designated territory.
• Manage a sales funnel while identifying business opportunities through proactive and innovative strategies.
• Maintain an opportunity pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Deliver precise sales forecasts and keep the CRM system updated.
• Generate business opportunities and represent Agilent in sales activities alongside field staff.
• Retain and expand the existing customer base.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal resources.
• Coordinate with Product Managers and the logistics team to ensure stock levels and supply chains align with customer requirements.
• Work alongside Product Specialists to target new applications and enhance customer workflows.
• Address non-routine issues and challenges within the area of specialization.
• Manage pricing strategies within the territory to maximize profitability.
• A university degree in a scientific field, such as Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in analytical techniques, either in a similar role or as an end user.
• Preferable experience with automation and/or liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry in Life Sciences applications, including proteomics, biopharma, pharmaceuticals, or metabolomics.
• Sales experience is mandatory.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are crucial.
• Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to organize and prioritize workload efficiently.
• A cooperative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
• Aptitude for understanding customer requirements while balancing their expectations with Agilent's business needs.
