Inside Loan Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage both incoming and outgoing leads generated through corporate marketing, portfolio servicing, digital campaigns, and internal referrals.

• Execute initial discovery calls to assess customer needs, interest levels, and fundamental eligibility for reverse mortgages.

• Provide clear, compliant, and consultative education to consumers regarding reverse mortgage options, including HECM and proprietary reverse products.

• Establish rapport and trust with homeowners and their families through professional and empathetic communication.

• Record customer interactions, notes, and next steps in CRM and loan origination systems.

• Adhere to established call scripts, workflows, and compliance regulations.

• Maintain follow-up communication with prospects via phone, email, and SMS as part of structured marketing journeys.

• Achieve or surpass contact-rate, qualification-rate, and conversion goals.

• Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and sales leadership to enhance lead quality, customer experience, and conversion effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• NMLS licensing is preferred; candidates should be willing to obtain it if necessary for the position.

• Background in inside sales, call center sales, or consumer-direct financial services is essential.

• Experience in mortgage, reverse mortgage, or home equity is preferred.

• Preference for candidates who have worked with corporate-generated leads rather than self-sourced business.

• Comfort in engaging with homeowners who meet age-based program eligibility requirements and discussing long-term financial matters.

• Familiarity with compliance-oriented sales environments is preferred.

• Proficient in effective communication and active listening skills.

• Capable of managing a high volume of leads and follow-ups within a structured sales environment.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.

• Competence in using CRM systems, dialers, and basic computer applications.
