Inside Auto Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into basic and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims.

• Manage claims that do not involve representation.

• Assess coverage, establish liability, and negotiate settlements.

• Collaborate directly with claimants, insured individuals, and other relevant parties.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies throughout the claims process.

• Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents and compile claim summaries.

• Conduct recorded interviews with claimants, insured parties, and witnesses.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages accurately.

• Negotiate and resolve claims in line with established guidelines and best practices.

• Maintain comprehensive claim files, including notes, summaries, and reasoning behind decisions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate efficient, customer-focused claim management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in AZ, ID, NV, CO, OR, MT, or UT at the time of hiring.

• A minimum of 2 years of prior claim handling experience is preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven commitment to outstanding customer service.

• Capability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail alongside solid critical-thinking and decision-making skills.

• Proficient in using technology and willing to learn claims-related software and tools.

• Required to obtain all necessary adjuster licenses within 60 days of employment.

• Must maintain the required licenses, complete continuing education, and fulfill state renewal obligations.

• A dedicated private workspace free from distractions is essential.

• Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up is required.

• An appropriate work surface and seating arrangement are necessary.

• Must agree to undergo a background investigation.
