Claims Examiner – Auto/Bodily Injury

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess bodily injury claims on behalf of clients to ascertain benefits owed

• Ensure continuous adjudication of claims aligns with service expectations, industry best practices, and client service standards

• Investigate claims and collect information to evaluate claim exposure

• Manage claims through action plans to achieve timely and appropriate resolutions

• Negotiate claim settlements within the defined authority

• Maintain communication regarding claim activity and processing with claimants and clients

• Report claims to excess carriers

• Respond to requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

• Prior experience in auto claims is preferred

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is an advantage

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

• Capability to analyze bodily injury claims

• Proficient in computer keyboarding

• Adequate hearing, vision, and speaking abilities

• Capacity for clear and conceptual thinking

• Excellent judgment and discretion

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Must adhere to applicable licensing and jurisdictional requirements
