Claims Representative, Auto – Property Damage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +39 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze and manage auto and general liability property damage claims.

• Evaluate damage, authorize payments, and ensure claim files are accurately documented and coded in accordance with the policy.

• Create and uphold action plans to adhere to state-mandated contract deadlines and advance files toward timely and suitable resolutions.

• Identify and seek out subrogation opportunities.

• Secure and handle salvage appropriately.

• Communicate claim actions and processes with insured individuals, clients, and agents or brokers when necessary.

• Maintain professional relationships with clients.

• Conduct coverage, liability, and damage evaluations on all assigned claims.

• Support the organization’s quality assurance programs.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Travel as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Obtain and uphold the state adjusting licenses as required for the role.

• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements is necessary.

• Capability to review and evaluate Property Damage estimates, total loss assessments, and associated costs to effectively negotiate both first and third-party claims.

• Preferred knowledge of total loss processing, state salvage forms, and title requirements.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively.

• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical and interpretive abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Ability to meet or surpass service expectations.

• Proficient in computer keyboarding.

• Capable of hearing, seeing, and speaking effectively.
