• Perform thorough needs assessments to comprehend customer challenges, objectives, and opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for Elsevier, aligning solutions with customer strategies.
• Meet revenue targets by driving new sales and ensuring timely renewals.
• Leverage data and insights to inform strategic decisions, forecast accurately, and pinpoint growth opportunities across the entire portfolio.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to develop and implement strategic account plans.

• Continuously enhance knowledge about customer industries, Elsevier’s offerings, and emerging trends.

• Identify and analyze customer priorities, challenges, and strategic goals.
• Position Elsevier’s integrated products and services effectively.
• Drive revenue and growth targets with a sense of urgency and accountability.
• Utilize analytics and insights to inform actions and evaluate impact.

• Maintain focus and adapt effectively under pressure.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within corporate or knowledge-based sectors.
• Demonstrate a record of success in strategic account planning and consultative selling.
• Exhibit outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Show proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and other sales enablement tools.
• Have experience in a matrix organization and managing intricate stakeholder relationships.
