Infrastructure IAM – Technical Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Manage a team of IAM administrators and engineers dedicated to on-premise Active Directory and Privileged Access Management.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Identity and Access Management at Hitachi Vantara, under the Chief Information Security Officer.

• Create and implement a multi-year strategy to enhance AD and PAM initiatives.

• Ensure optimal operations and availability for AD and PAM solutions.

• Develop, support, and sustain AD and PAM platforms.

• Implement security best practices throughout AD and PAM systems.

• Design, develop, and oversee team processes for platform management and operations.

• Contribute to the design and development of an automation-first IAM stack.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity and business leaders to address and resolve complex organizational challenges.

• Engage in hands-on tasks with on-premise Active Directory and Privileged Access Management solutions.

• Lead project teams, steering them toward achieving goals and milestones.

• Mentor and develop junior IAM team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expert knowledge of on-premise Active Directory and/or a Privileged Access Management program.

• Proficient in Active Directory administration, including management of AD objects, domain controllers, DNS zones, security hardening, and group policy.

• Experience with PAM SaaS administration, including maintenance, operations, privileged-access policies, governance, and account management across various platforms such as servers, databases, network appliances, and virtual hosts.

• Strong proficiency in LDAP, LDAPS, and Kerberos.

• Background in large-scale enterprise IAM environments with over 20,000 users and computer objects.

• Familiarity with IT Service Management processes, such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.

• Proven ability to lead project teams to achieve objectives and milestones.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong capability in people management.

• Commitment to developing the technical skills of junior team members within IAM platforms.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated and adaptable to new technologies and dynamic variables in fast-paced, large-scale projects with tight deadlines.

• Openness to working in an international team, participating in meetings several times a week at varied hours to support teams in the US, Europe, and India.
