Infrastructure Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and configure Azure infrastructure across analytics, AI, compute, storage, networking, and platform layers.

• Deploy and oversee infrastructure and platform environments.

• Develop proofs of architecture to assess the viability, security, and performance of the architecture.

• Execute dependable, automated infrastructure solutions utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Work in collaboration with technical teams to aid in the design and deployment of cloud platforms.

• Engage in team discussions and play an active role in technical decision-making.

• Recognize and propose solutions for challenges related to infrastructure, platforms, and deployment.

• Promote ongoing enhancement of cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in an Infrastructure Engineer role.

• Expertise in Azure Platform/Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

• Experience in deploying and managing Azure platform services, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

• Understanding of Azure Cloud Architecture, encompassing security, scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Proven track record in deploying infrastructure and platform environments and creating architectural proofs.

• Solid grasp of infrastructure automation and DevOps methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to participate in technical discussions within a collaborative team setting.

• Active Secret level security clearance is required at the time of application.
