Infrastructure Developer, Platform Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, using Terraform as code.

• Create CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and implement guardrails for secure agentic releases.

• Oversee and scale multi-region Kubernetes clusters.

• Maintain and advance reusable Helm charts and deployment processes.

• Improve observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting, including AI-assisted remediation and clear ownership of alerts.

• Enhance infrastructure security through image scanning, policy-as-code, network segmentation, and firewall setups.

• Collaborate with product engineering teams to address infrastructure requirements.

• Empower developers and agents to independently deploy and manage services.

• Engage in the on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering.

• A forward-thinking approach to AI and adherence to AI-native standards.

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms; AWS preferred, along with transferable experience in Azure or GCP.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments.

• Proficient in Kubernetes within production settings.

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.

• Experience with observability tools, including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to support engineering teams effectively.

• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate platform complexity and trade-offs.

• Expert-level proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
