Infrastructure Automation Engineer – Ansible, AWX, DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Automate lifecycle management utilizing AWX and Ansible.

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines, including the integration of existing external automation.

• Execute defined tasks on automation systems independently, from planning through to implementation.

• Generate Bash and Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks and optimize operations.

• Thoroughly document environments and systems prior to implementation.

• Design and document automation and network environments for both customer and internal projects.

• Propose enhancements to configurations and technical specifications.

• Provide training and onboarding for new colleagues and share knowledge within the team.

• Engage in a shift roster that includes nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Assist colleagues beyond the core responsibilities to expand expertise and support the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, excluding educational programs and internships.

• Extensive, hands-on expertise with AWX and Ansible.

• Proficient scripting abilities in Bash and Python, with the capability to write scripts independently.

• In-depth knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of databases and networking.

• An independent, organized working style accompanied by a strong sense of ownership.

• Willingness and capability to train and onboard new colleagues.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• German language skills are a plus.
