DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance the organization’s AWS cloud architecture, prioritizing security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform.

• Maintain consistent configuration, patching, and scaling across various environments.

• Design and oversee CI/CD pipelines and internal tools.

• Champion DevOps best practices throughout the company.

• Guarantee high availability and performance of production platforms in accordance with SLAs.

• Manage disaster recovery plans and strategies for resilience.

• Configure and uphold monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

• Proactively identify anomalies and comprehend system behavior.

• Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve complex issues.

• Optimize critical systems and lead root cause analysis initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

• A minimum of four years of experience as a DevOps Technician.

• Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly Amazon Web Services.

• Extensive experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.

• Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, including EKS and Argo Rollouts.

• Strong expertise in Perl, Python, and shell scripting.

• Understanding of Nginx, Tomcat, and OpenResty.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Jenkins, and Go.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, including Datadog and Elasticsearch.

• Proficient in English at a high level.

• AWS or other cloud certifications are advantageous.

• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments is a plus.

• Experience in implementing and configuring security policies within cloud environments is a plus.
