📋 Description

• Assist in the daily operations and troubleshooting of information systems utilized in federal and DoD environments.

• Engage with both Linux and Windows systems, including networking, user access, and system configuration.

• Examine customer issues, document results, resolve problems within the designated scope, and escalate intricate issues to senior technical or engineering teams.

• Aid in the installation, configuration, patching, system hardening, and security-related tasks.

• Keep documentation, system inventories, and configuration records up to date.

• Support compliance efforts by collecting information and adhering to established procedures.

• Acquire knowledge of RapidFort’s platform and develop a practical understanding of container security, vulnerability management, and the software supply chain.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–2 years of professional IT experience; relevant military service, internships, co-ops, help desk roles, and substantial hands-on lab experience are encouraged.

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent military technical training.

• U.S. citizenship and a current Secret clearance.

• A solid foundation in operating systems, networking, security, and technical troubleshooting.

• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with government and enterprise customers.

• A sense of curiosity, good judgment, and a willingness to learn from experienced team members.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Linux administration or troubleshooting.

• Preferred: Security+ certification, or a commitment to obtain it if necessary for the role.

• Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, scripting, or cybersecurity tools.
