Information Security Specialist – Fusion Incident Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish, develop, and/or execute technology controls along with information security policies, programs, and tools.

• Offer specialized knowledge and advice on evaluating risks, pinpointing potential vulnerabilities, and creating security solutions.

• Engage in projects and initiatives of moderate to high complexity.

• Deliver intricate reporting, analysis, and evaluations at the functional, business line, or enterprise level.

• Serve as the primary expert resource in technology controls, information security, and risk-related matters.

• Manage Fusion Incident Management efforts and guide incidents through the phases of containment, eradication, recovery, and closure.

• Propel incident response initiatives and monitor incident tasks, data, and workflows.

• Compose and review communications for stakeholders, operational teams, and leadership.

• Spearhead the advancement of internal processes, documentation, and routines in collaboration with senior and executive leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of pertinent experience.

• In-depth knowledge of IT security and risk management disciplines and practices.

• Capability to oversee incident management processes from containment to recovery and closure.

• Proficiency in driving incident response initiatives with critical thinking, an investigative mindset, and active listening.

• Competence in tracking incident tasks, data, and workflows.

• Skill in composing and reviewing communications for stakeholders, operational teams, and leadership.

• Experience in leading and enhancing internal processes, documentation, and routines in partnership with senior and executive leadership.

• Ability to promote productivity, innovation, process enhancement, teamwork, and professionalism.

• Capacity to prioritize and manage workload effectively to achieve quality outcomes and meet deadlines.

• Preferred Bachelor's degree.

• Information security certification/accreditation is a valuable asset.
