Information Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to design, implement, and manage ISMS and compliance frameworks

• Perform gap analyses and identify as well as prioritize remediation actions

• Develop and align policies, processes, role models, Statements of Applicability (SoA), and supporting evidence

• Prepare for and assist in both internal and external audits

• Convert regulatory requirements into actionable operating models

• Regularly engage with technical, organizational, and management stakeholders

• Assist clients in the establishment, operation, and continuous enhancement of modern ISMS frameworks

• Examine business models and technical environments to craft practical, audit-ready solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in information security, ISMS, GRC, IT projects, or process management

• Passionate about delivering client-centric consulting and collaboratively developing solutions

• Capability to articulate complex security subjects in a clear and comprehensible manner

• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001, or a strong eagerness to rapidly gain expertise in this domain

• Knowledge of SOC 2, C5, NIS2, or GDPR is a plus

• Comfortable using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365/SharePoint

• Proficient in both German and English
