Information Security Analyst – Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the identification, analysis, and monitoring of product vulnerabilities, aiding in the prioritization and tracking of remediation efforts alongside the responsible teams.

• Engage in Threat Modeling activities, aiding in the detection of security risks from the design phase of solutions.

• Aid Technology teams in implementing secure development practices for products (AppSec).

• Work in collaboration with Cyber Threat Intelligence teams to comprehend threat scenarios and their potential effects on products.

• Assist in the analysis and response to security incidents, contributing to investigations, root-cause analysis, and follow-up on action plans.

• Perform security analyses based on the OWASP Top 10, identifying possible risks and areas for improvement.

• Support the Information Security team in meeting security requirements across various products and mobility squads.

• Assist with supplier assessments from an Information Security viewpoint.

• Track product security metrics, helping to pinpoint areas needing attention and contributing to enhanced outcomes.

• Promote security awareness initiatives and foster a security culture within Technology teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Fundamental understanding of Information Security principles, including Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA).

• Familiarity with basic concepts of the OWASP Top 10.

• Excellent organizational abilities for tracking activities, deadlines, and priorities.

• Strong communication skills and the capacity to engage effectively with diverse audiences, particularly Technology teams.

• A curious and proactive attitude, demonstrating a willingness to learn and expand knowledge in Information Security.

• An interest in applying Information Security concepts to Technology products and solutions.

• Preferred: experience in Threat Modeling, Vulnerability Management, and AppSec.

• Preferred: academic qualifications or certifications related to Information Security, whether at the undergraduate or graduate level.
