Information Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversee the establishment of information security policies and coordinate the implementation of security measures across the organization.

• Perform information security audits and analyses, consistently driving solutions and actionable outcomes.

• Address routine security incidents and audits effectively.

• Continuously monitor, assess, and uphold systems and procedures that protect internal information systems, networks, databases, and web-based security.

• Propose and execute modifications to improve system security and avert unauthorized access.

• Inform and educate users about security requirements and protocols.

• Stay updated on new and emerging threats through research and monitoring of information security websites.

• Analyze vulnerability scan data to prioritize and address risks.

• Support software, hardware, and service evaluations, security audits, risk assessments, and compliance with regulations and privacy laws.

• Evaluate DLP dashboards and alerts to assess tool and policy effectiveness, devising strategies to mitigate observations and risks.

• Collaborate with business teams to understand sensitive data workflows and jointly develop secure solutions.

• Identify and promote innovations that cater to data protection requirements.

• Contribute to the enhancement of DLP policies, standards, and requirements.

• Assist in DLP security awareness initiatives, including creating materials and educating staff.

• Support the development of the Enterprise DLP roadmap.

• Undertake additional assigned responsibilities as needed.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a product team.

• Proficiency in gathering data and assessing risk posture.

• Familiarity with penetration testing, configuration hardening, and vulnerability management.

• Awareness of hacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical subject matter experts and business stakeholders.

• Preferred experience in technology security.

• Preferred skills in data analysis.
