Information Request Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Update patient accounts with information obtained from hospitals.

• Follow up with the Contact Specialist.

• Access client connections and computer systems to gather information necessary for account updates.

• Monitor requests to ensure they do not exceed the required timeframe.

• Undertake special projects or assigned tasks.

• Assist IT in resolving access-related issues.

• Act as a liaison between claims representatives and providers.

• Facilitate the prompt resolution of client accounts.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

• Proven high-level customer service skills for both external and internal clients.

• Capability to work independently and follow through with minimal guidance.

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn client and Operations processes.

• Ability to produce accurate work with a focus on detail.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

• Competence to work effectively under minimal supervision.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Ability to gain proficiency with various hospital databases.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and internal applications.

• Strong computer navigation skills.

• Experience in using multiple software applications simultaneously.

• Must reside in the United States within one of the specified states.

• Secure internet connection with download speeds exceeding 20 Mbps and upload speeds above 10 Mbps.

• Quiet, distraction-free home work environment.
