This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with analytics, IT, and various departments to accomplish tasks utilizing insights from subject-matter experts.

• Leverage advanced knowledge of data, modeling, optimization, and analytical tools.

• Utilize disciplined analytics to forecast behavior and enhance programs and products for revenue growth.

• Employ advanced or predictive modeling to create, test, and validate scenarios that enhance program outcomes and quality.

• Contribute innovative strategies to financial models while building an understanding of business context.

• Analyze intricate data and convey findings to organizational units at the appropriate level.

• Apply mathematical concepts that could have substantial business implications.

• Comprehend departmental, segment, and organizational strategies and operational objectives.

• Make informed decisions regarding work methods in ambiguous situations with limited guidance.

• Adhere to established guidelines and procedures.

• Report to the Associate Director of Informatics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis.

• Technical expertise in coding and data visualization tools, preferably SAS, Python, PowerBI, or similar tools.

• Experience with problem-solving, research, and analysis tools.

• Strong detail orientation.

• Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with data mining and predictive modeling techniques is preferred.

• Experience in utilizing data to influence business outcomes and decisions is preferred.

• Background in PQA/NCQA measure analytics is preferred.

• Knowledge of or experience with CMS Stars is preferred.

• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
