Informatica Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and establish intricate data architectures based on Informatica across both cloud and on-premises settings.

• Spearhead the architecture and integration strategy for enterprise-level data platforms.

• Develop and execute data governance frameworks, which encompass data cataloguing, data lineage, metadata management, and data quality.

• Convert business, data, and technology needs into scalable and enduring architectural solutions.

• Offer technical leadership and architectural advice throughout data integration and management projects.

• Ensure that data architectures adhere to pertinent data protection and AI regulations, including GDPR and the EU AI Act.

• Contribute to the establishment of architecture standards, best practices, and governance policies.

• Evaluate existing data environments and suggest enhancements, modernization, and migration strategies.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Developers, and other technical teams throughout the project delivery lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with the Informatica ecosystem, especially Informatica PowerCenter.

• Familiarity with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) / IICS.

• Proficient in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM).

• Knowledge of CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) / Data Catalog.

• Proficient in data lineage and metadata management.

• Experience with both cloud and on-premises data architecture.

• Strong understanding of data governance and data management principles.

• Familiarity with data lineage, data cataloguing, metadata, and data quality frameworks.

• Knowledge of data protection and regulatory requirements, specifically GDPR.

• Understanding of the EU AI Act and its implications for data and AI governance.
