This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Propel financial performance and market expansion for the Non-Branded Food Ingredients segment across the Americas.
• Establish and steer the strategy for the Nutrition NBFI sector in collaboration with the IMM, Commercial, and Sourcing Teams.
• Develop and execute the Nutrition portfolio strategy, which encompasses sourcing, preferred suppliers, growth objectives, and a consultative sales approach.
• Oversee supplier relationships and interactions.
• Take ownership of gross profit, sales, and growth for a specific product category within Nutrition Americas.
• Assist sales teams in distinguishing Nutrition from its rivals.
• Serve as the Nutrition product authority and promote market development throughout the Americas.
• Manage and implement opportunity pipelines effectively.
• Engage in sales and sourcing meetings as needed.
• Provide sales training focused on NBFIs.
• Release monthly updates regarding market dynamics and emerging issues.
• Support Corporate or Key Account Bid Teams as necessary.
• Set floor and target pricing for Nutrition and regionally managed products.
• Identify opportunities driven by customer requirements and market shifts.
• Introduce new product lines and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Hold purchasing teams accountable for their buying strategies.
• Ensure compliance with supplier strategy.
• Implement margin optimization initiatives.
• Negotiate Nutrition contracts, including commitments on volume, bonuses, pricing, and projects, subject to Leadership approval.
• Collaborate with the inventory management team to execute inventory strategies.
• Design, implement, and maintain business metrics that support key business objectives.
• Maintain open and regular communication with colleagues across the organization.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory.
• 10 to 15 years of professional experience in product management within the Ingredients Distribution or Blending/Manufacturing industry, or in a B2B context.
• Proven history of meeting revenue and gross profit growth targets.
• Preference may be granted to candidates with a graduate degree.
