Industrialization Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Oversee the launch of new products from the quotation stage to production initiation and PPAP approval.

• Create and oversee the industrialization strategy while adhering to deadlines and budgetary constraints.

• Monitor APQP milestones.

• Supervise the budget during the development phase.

• Assess workshop performance through complete validation of serial production conditions.

• Question design assumptions.

• Ensure the robustness of the Quality Management Plan.

• Assist in the implementation and qualification of the Supply Chain.

• Identify the production equipment necessary for the serial production stage.

• Manage the industrialization of modifications to BTS equipment.

• Conduct risk assessments related to changes in BTS equipment.

• Schedule and monitor industrialization milestones with suppliers.

• Define and review industrialization criteria, especially DVI PPAP requirements.

• Approve the outputs for each milestone.

• Oversee documentation, approval processes, closure of SAP DVI notifications, and file storage.

• Generate reports on progress, risks, schedules, and missing input data.

• Lead industrialization and project review committees.

• Confirm the integrity of industrialization mandates and requests.

• Facilitate project routines and prepare internal reports as well as reports for the final customer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree from an engineering school or a master's degree from a university.

• Proven NPI experience in an industrial sector (such as aerospace, automotive, rail, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of quality standards, requirements, and tools.

• Prior experience in an international setting is essential.

• Advanced proficiency in English is required.

• Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach.

• Enjoys tackling challenges.

• Willingness to travel within France and internationally to supplier locations.
