This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct and/or oversee surveys related to asbestos, lead paint, mold, and indoor air quality assessments.
• Generate detailed reports outlining findings and propose actionable solutions.
• Execute industrial hygiene sampling and evaluate indoor air quality, including assessments of mold, bioaerosols, radon, particulates, and other potential hazards.
• Establish and nurture positive relationships with clients.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates for services.
• Uphold technical excellence, comprehend client requirements, ensure the quality of consulting services, and enhance client satisfaction.
• Support the sales team by assisting in the development of proposals for advanced services.
• Collaborate with regional sales personnel to cultivate divisional client relationships through networking and delivering high-quality technical services.
• Oversee projects from initiation to completion.
• Create marketing materials and proposals tailored to clients.
• Review pricing and rates associated with proposals.
• Supervise ACs or environmental technicians in executing their tasks.
• Perform work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to various weather conditions.
• Manage office and field equipment and travel independently as necessary.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in executing and managing technical industrial hygiene projects.
• Previous experience in technical Industrial Hygiene and familiarity with environmental consulting projects.
• Proficiency in conducting forensic examinations and assessments of hazardous or regulated building materials, such as asbestos, lead paint, and PCBs.
• Exceptional technical writing and critical thinking capabilities.
• Strong skills in communication, organization, and time management.
• Capability to manage environmental technicians effectively.
• Experience with field monitoring tools used for construction, remediation, or industrial hygiene evaluations.
• Familiarity with generating field sampling reports, preparing cost estimates, and participating in meetings with architects, engineers, construction managers, and contractors.
• Ability to address technical inquiries and support clients through complex projects.
• Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and management abilities.
• Positive attitude, robust work ethic, and capacity to perform under pressure.
• Proficiency in proposal and report composition.
• Strong background in customer service.
• Experience in effectively engaging with internal and external clients.
• Motivated self-starter with exceptional initiative.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Corel DRAW preferred.
• Sales experience and established client base preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or a degree candidate in environmental, civil, environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, industrial hygiene safety, or environmental science.
• Active state asbestos certification(s) required.
• EPA Mold Training certification.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Preferred licensure in CSST, CAC, or CLIA.
• Ability to travel independently.
• Capacity to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
