Industrial Hygiene Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct and/or oversee surveys related to asbestos, lead paint, mold, and indoor air quality assessments.

• Generate detailed reports on findings and provide recommended solutions.

• Execute industrial hygiene sampling and evaluate indoor air quality, including assessments for mold, bioaerosols, radon, and particulates.

• Foster and sustain positive relationships with clients.

• Prepare proposals and cost estimates.

• Support the sales team in developing proposals for advanced services.

• Collaborate with regional sales personnel to cultivate divisional clients through networking and delivering high-quality technical services.

• Oversee projects from inception to completion.

• Create proposals and marketing materials for clients.

• Assess pricing and rates for proposals.

• Supervise ACs or environmental technicians in executing tasks.

• Assist clients with challenging technical projects and inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing and conducting technical industrial hygiene projects.

• Prior experience in technical Industrial Hygiene and familiarity with environmental consulting projects.

• Proven expertise in forensic examinations and assessments of hazardous or regulated materials, such as asbestos, lead paint, and PCBs.

• Exceptional technical writing and critical thinking capabilities.

• Strong skills in communication, organization, and time management.

• Experience in managing environmental technicians.

• Familiarity with field monitoring equipment used in construction, remediation, or industrial hygiene assessments.

• Competence in preparing field sampling reports, cost estimates, and participating in meetings with architects, engineers, construction managers, and contractors.

• Proficiency in writing proposals and reports.

• A robust customer service background with experience in interacting with both internal and external clients.

• Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Corel DRAW.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or degree candidate in environmental, civil, environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, industrial hygiene safety, or environmental science.

• Current state asbestos certification(s) is mandatory.

• Completion of EPA Mold Training.

• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

• Preferred licensure in CSST, CAC, or CLIA.

• Capability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Ability to travel independently and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
