This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Manage, analyze, and ensure the precision of standard product costs.
• Participate in the cycles for revising standard costs.
• Analyze discrepancies between standard and actual costs.
• Oversee the components of industrial costs: materials, labor, overhead, logistics, and subcontracting.
• Guarantee the accuracy of bills of materials, routings, labor rates, and master data.
• Identify cost overruns and create action plans.
• Conduct profitability analyses by product, product family, or production line.
• Ensure the integrity and reliability of industrial and financial data within ERP systems and decision-support tools.
• Maintain and enhance cost structures and financial parameters.
• Assist users in utilizing systems and develop best practices.
• Engage in digitalization, automation, and Business Intelligence initiatives.
• Create reporting and analysis tools.
• Evaluate projected costs for new products and engineering modifications.
• Perform economic analyses to support investment or product-launch decisions.
• Monitor financial assumptions of projects and analyze variances between forecasts and actual results.
• Identify opportunities to enhance product competitiveness.
• Apply Group financial policies.
• Participate in SOX controls and internal or external audits.
• Ensure the reliability of financial processes and management data.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Master's degree in Finance, Management Control, Business, or Engineering with a focus on Finance.
• Ideally, a minimum of 5 years of experience, with substantial experience in industrial controlling and/or costing.
• Proficient in standard costs, variance analysis, margins, and industrial performance.
• Understanding of processes and mechanisms within a production environment.
• Essential experience with an industrial ERP system.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Professional proficiency in English that allows for understanding and drafting communications, as well as occasional participation in discussions.
• Attributes of curiosity, rigor, and autonomy.
• Capability to collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, and Quality teams.
