
Indirect Auto Loan Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
• Receive, log, track, and process indirect loan packets through the appropriate queues in the indirect lending software system.
• Review lending documents and contracts to ensure accuracy, validity, and completeness.
• Conduct audits of incoming loan files to assess quality, accuracy, completeness, and identify potential fraud indicators.
• Confirm that underwriting conditions have been met and clear those conditions when necessary.
• Ensure loan files comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Keep departmental spreadsheets and tracking records accurate and up-to-date.
• Remain informed about operational procedures and complete all required training.
• Interact professionally and courteously with vendors, members, employees, and other business partners.
• At least one year of experience in consumer lending, loan processing, or a related field.
• Proficient understanding of consumer loan documentation.
• Capability to assess whether loan contracts and accompanying documents are accurate, valid, and complete.
• Skilled at identifying inconsistencies, missing documentation, and potential fraud indicators within loan files.
• Ability to review documentation, confirm underwriting conditions, and utilize sound judgment in clearing conditions.
• Strong data-entry capabilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and business or financial systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage processing deadlines, and adapt to changes in workload or procedures.
• Capability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
• Good judgment, discretion, and practical problem-solving abilities.
• Professional and courteous communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Candidates must reside in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho as a condition of employment.
• Weekend work, evening shifts, and occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Preferred: prior experience in indirect auto loan processing; familiarity with reviewing auto loan, dealer, title, insurance, GAP, warranty, or vehicle valuation documentation; background in financial services; knowledge of consumer lending compliance; experience in fraud recognition; and familiarity with indirect lending, credit unions, document management, or lending workflow systems; spreadsheet proficiency.
