Independent US IPO Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop continuous research coverage for all US IPOs and direct listings with a projected deal size of USD 100 million or more, excluding closed-end funds and SPACs.

• Utilize a data-driven approach to evaluate and rank deals.

• Create pre-IPO company tear sheets.

• Execute fundamental research prior to IPOs.

• Offer insights on pre-IPO valuations and pricing.

• Compile trading summaries following IPO completion.

• Develop previews for post-IPO lock-up expirations.

• Deliver personalized service for select institutional clients within the initial six months.

• Supply pre-deal preparation, market intelligence, strategic positioning, and book color insights.

• Prepare questions for management meetings and create Excel models.

• Generate customized notes for pre-IPO or cornerstone stakes under NDA.

• Provide insights on trading following lock-up expirations.

• Ensure desk access through email, messaging, and direct calls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant research and/or investment experience catering to institutional clients (5 years or more).

• Proven experience and connections within the US equity capital markets.

• Established ability to produce research writings.

• Capability to function as a senior analyst or as part of an analyst team.
