Independent Contractor Project Manager – ERP Implementation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and oversee the comprehensive project plan, timeline, milestones, and dependencies.

• Coordinate efforts among the client team, 33Floors consultants, and other project stakeholders.

• Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure follow-up on decisions and action items.

• Monitor project deliverables, open items, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Identify potential delays or project risks and escalate them as necessary.

• Maintain clear documentation regarding project status, decisions made, priorities, and outstanding items.

• Coordinate data migration activities along with associated timelines during the initial phases of the project.

• Assist in aligning client and consulting resources concerning responsibilities and deadlines.

• Track progress against implementation milestones and communicate any changes or concerns.

• Oversee configuration, data conversion, testing, training, go-live, and hypercare activities.

• Provide project status updates to both client and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain momentum and accountability across a geographically distributed project team.

• Support change management and communication initiatives as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven project management experience in supporting or leading mid-to-large ERP or enterprise software implementations.

• Demonstrated capability in managing complex software implementation projects from planning through to go-live and post-launch support.

• Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and the stages of the project lifecycle.

• Experience in coordinating multiple workstreams, stakeholders, deliverables, and dependencies.

• Excellent project planning, organization, documentation, and follow-through skills.

• Ability to proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and ensure projects progress smoothly.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable working independently in a consulting context with minimal day-to-day supervision.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Availability for meetings and project activities during Pacific Time business hours.

• Yardi implementation experience is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with Yardi Voyager or other Yardi products is preferred.

• Experience in implementing ERP or enterprise software within the real estate sector is preferred.

• Previous experience in consulting or professional services is preferred.

• Experience managing data migration, system configuration, testing, and go-live activities is preferred.

• PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications are preferred.

• Sufficient availability for scheduled client and project team meetings during Pacific Time business hours.
