Independent Consultant, Food Safety Auditor/Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Perform audits focused on hygiene and food safety.

• Evaluate on-site practices and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.

• Educate teams on best hygiene practices and compliance regulations.

• Assist establishments in implementing their compliance strategies.

• Carry out sampling and inspections as needed.

• Create audit reports along with corresponding action plans.

• Collaborate directly with clients in the restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, and agri-food industries.

• Manage your schedule and travel independently within the designated service area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's to Master's degree in Quality, Food Safety, Microbiology, Food Science, or a similar discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in food safety auditing, training, or consulting.

• In-depth knowledge of HACCP standards and relevant regulatory guidelines.

• Experience in delivering effective training sessions.

• Capability to work autonomously.

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Proficient in office applications, especially Microsoft Office.

• Must hold independent contractor status (freelancer, sole proprietor, or corporation).

• Valid Category B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.

• Access to a computer or tablet for report preparation.

• Willingness to travel within the specified geographic region.

• Proficiency in English is advantageous but not mandatory.
