Independent Consultant – Food Safety Auditor / Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Perform audits focused on hygiene and food safety.

• Evaluate on-site practices and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.

• Educate teams on effective hygiene practices and compliance regulations.

• Assist establishments in their efforts to maintain compliance.

• Execute sampling and inspections as required.

• Create audit reports along with associated action plans.

• Collaborate directly with clients across the food service, hospitality, healthcare, and food processing sectors.

• Travel frequently within the designated service area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Quality Management, Food Safety, Microbiology, Food Science, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in food safety auditing, training, or consulting.

• Comprehensive understanding of HACCP standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Experience in conducting training sessions.

• Capability to work autonomously.

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Status as an independent contractor (freelancer, sole proprietor, or company).

• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.

• Laptop or tablet for report preparation.

• Willingness to travel within the specified geographic area.

• Proficiency in English is advantageous but not mandatory.
