This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Assist in the design, development, and execution of incubation and research initiatives that tackle complex challenges faced by children, youth, families, churches, and field offices.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to pinpoint unmet needs, brainstorm ideas, and assess effectiveness, sustainability, and scalability.
• Utilize research methods to address learning questions and evaluate the impact of pilot initiatives.
• Lead workshops, discussions, and sessions for stakeholder engagement.
• Analyze and consolidate research findings into concise, actionable insights suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support projects from the initial concept stage through to testing and evaluation.
• Contribute to learning agendas that promote responsible innovation.
• Incorporate feedback from children, youth, church partners, field leaders, researchers, and organizational leadership.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging research, development trends, and innovative practices.
• Travel globally up to 30% of the time for project implementation, stakeholder engagement, and learning activities.
• Encourage curiosity, learning, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
• Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree with approximately five years of relevant experience; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with research processes and methodologies is essential.
• Demonstrate curiosity and a passion for exploring complex questions.
• Ability to excel in ambiguous situations and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong collaboration skills across teams, disciplines, cultures, and organizational levels.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and facilitation abilities.
• Preferred experience in conducting or supporting research, monitoring, evaluation, learning, or related activities.
• Exposure to human-centered design, innovation, design thinking, or incubation approaches is desirable.
• Valued experience in cross-cultural contexts.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as R, Stata, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Spanish or Kiswahili is a plus.
