This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Facilitate governance and oversight for the Incident Management lifecycle.
• Manage incident reviews, post-mortem governance activities, remediation tracking, and operational reporting.
• Evaluate incident trends, recurring issues, and operational risks to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering and SRE teams to enhance operational resilience and incident management practices.
• Assist in governance and oversight of SDLC and Change Management processes, controls, standards, and procedures.
• Organize Change Advisory Board (CAB) governance activities and change evaluations.
• Conduct change risk assessments, governance reviews, audits, and quality assurance tasks.
• Aid in change freeze planning, exception management, and readiness assessments.
• Generate executive reports, dashboards, scorecards, and operational metrics.
• Analyze incident, change, and governance data to uncover trends and emerging risks.
• Support audit requests, control reviews, and regulatory interactions.
• Prepare relevant documentation, evidence, and management reporting materials.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing operational resilience, technology risk, and governance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for technology platforms related to governance.
• Collect requirements and assist in improving governance, workflow, reporting, and analytics solutions.
• Coordinate user feedback, enhancement requests, and process improvement efforts.
• Propel workflow automation and enhancements to governance effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Support the ownership and upkeep of Incident Management, Post-Mortem, Change Management, and Operational Resilience procedures.
• Contribute to the development of policies, standards, playbooks, training materials, and governance documentation.
• Provide guidance and best practices to engineering teams while promoting continuous improvement across groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology Management; or equivalent practical experience.
• Background in Incident Management and Change Management, Production Engineering/Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Engineering Governance/Operations, or Technology/Operational Risk.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency in AI tools.
• Familiarity with data analytics, visualization, and reporting tools such as advanced Microsoft Excel, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• ITIL, Agile, Product Ownership, Risk Management, or related certifications are considered an advantage.
