Risk & Trading Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee live betting markets in real-time across designated sports and events.

• Modify odds based on game conditions, injuries, cards, significant events, market fluctuations, and betting activity.

• Make liability-aware decisions regarding price adjustments, market suspensions, and stake/limit considerations.

• Ensure our pricing remains competitive against major operators such as Bet365 and Pinnacle.

• Operate within established event templates and market tiers, making adjustments as necessary.

• Monitor and respond to sharp or arbitrage activities.

• Utilize internal tools to track exposure and performance metrics.

• Contribute to enhancements in live trading and optimization of processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A post-secondary degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics, business, or other analytical disciplines.

• Availability to work weekends, evenings, holidays, nights, and public holidays.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a trading environment or in evaluating and calculating risk within insurance or finance (preferred).

• Strong general knowledge of sports betting and a keen interest in betting and odds is essential.

• Excellent mathematical aptitude.

• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to multitask and perform under pressure.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make swift decisions.

• Exceptional time management abilities.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in execution.
