Cyber Governance Senior Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee technology compliance and cybersecurity governance for the Regional Issuing Technology portfolio.

• Ensure adherence to PCI DSS, LGPD, corporate cybersecurity standards, and regulatory obligations.

• Supervise identity and access governance processes, conduct periodic reviews, manage privileged access, and oversee the certificate lifecycle.

• Organize vulnerability assessments, track remediation efforts, and report on security risks.

• Direct Disaster Recovery governance, which includes testing, formulating corrective action plans, and generating readiness reports.

• Keep track of compliance with incident, problem, change, and service-level management protocols.

• Coordinate technology audits, control assessments, evidence gathering, and remediation strategies.

• Create dashboards, executive scorecards, policies, standards, and operational procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in technology governance, compliance, cyber risk, or information security.

• Familiarity with regulated financial services, payment processing, or critical technology environments.

• In-depth understanding of control frameworks and practices, auditing, risk management, and operational governance.

• Capability to collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, demonstrating clear communication and analytical skills.

• Desirable certifications include CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CDPSE, ITIL, PCI ISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

• Knowledge of PCI DSS, LGPD, GDPR, SOX, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 is preferred.

• Understanding of Identity and Access Management, PKI, Vulnerability Management, and Operational Risk Management is advantageous.

• Experience in Disaster Recovery governance, technology resilience, and capacity planning is beneficial.

• Background in mainframe, distributed, cloud, and API-based architecture environments is a plus.
