Risk & Trading Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee live betting markets in real-time for designated sports/events.

• Modify odds based on game conditions, injuries, cards, significant events, market trends, and betting activities.

• Make liability-aware decisions, including price adjustments, market suspensions, and stake/limit considerations.

• Ensure that pricing remains competitive compared to major operators such as Bet365 and Pinnacle.

• Work within event templates and market tiers, making adjustments as necessary.

• Monitor and respond to sharp or arbitrage activities.

• Utilize internal tools to track exposure and performance metrics.

• Contribute to enhancements in live trading and process optimizations.

• Assist with Sports Betting products, pricing, risk management, Boosts, Specials, Promotions, and Player Props.

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline, such as mathematics, business, or other analytical fields.

• Availability to work during weekends, evenings, and holidays is essential.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a trading environment or in assessing and calculating risk in insurance or finance is preferred.

• Strong overall knowledge of sports betting and a keen interest in betting and odds is required.

• Highly focused on data, not just driven by it.

• Excellent mathematical capabilities.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Capable of multitasking and maintaining performance under pressure.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
