This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Participate as a member of the technical team in incident response activities.
• Create and implement innovative techniques to identify malicious actors within extensive data sets.
• Collaborate with project leaders and external legal counsel to perform intrusion investigations.
• Conduct host and/or network forensics across various operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Assist in producing high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customer management, regulatory bodies, and legal representatives.
• Familiarity with or experience in incident response, computer forensic analysis, network forensic analysis, reverse engineering, incident remediation, network operations, and architecture/engineering, cloud incident response, or communications.
• Proven experience in conducting or overseeing incident response investigations for organizations, particularly in relation to targeted threats such as Nation-State actors, E-Crime, and Hacktivism.
• Experience with forensic analysis tools in the context of incident response investigations.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and proficiency with network analysis tools like Bro/Zeek or Suricata.
• Capability to analyze related network logs.
• Understanding of both static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Strong grasp of targeted attacks and the ability to develop tailored tactical and strategic remediation strategies.
• Familiarity with secure network architecture and a solid background in network operations.
• Awareness of incident response methodologies applicable to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying detailed findings to clients at both executive and operational levels.
• Proficient in communicating tasks, guidance, and methodologies to internal teams.
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve business objectives.
• Ability to complete technical assignments with minimal oversight.
• Relevant work experience and/or training may compensate for formal education requirements.
