This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Lead the annual incentive compensation planning process for the revenue team.
• Develop and enhance compensation plan frameworks, crediting methodologies, performance measures, quotas, MBO frameworks, and performance mechanics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Finance, Human Resources, Sales Leadership, Enablement, and Revenue Operations.
• Identify risks, ambiguities, and friction points within plans and propose enhancements.
• Oversee the execution of annual compensation plan rollout activities.
• Create participant guides, FAQs, leadership communication points, training materials, and compensation-related communications.
• Clarify plan mechanics, crediting policies, performance metrics, MBO achievements, and compensation results.
• Manage sensitive compensation discussions with leaders, managers, and individual contributors.
• Address compensation inquiries in collaboration with the FP&A Sales Compensation team.
• Oversee compensation governance, documentation, process modifications, and plan interpretations.
• Utilize Xactly for plan implementation, minor participant updates, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and escalate issues related to compensation systems or processes.
• Generate reports and analyses regarding program effectiveness, seller performance, target achievement, MBO success, and plan clarity.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Operations, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Sales Compensation, or a related business area.
• Familiarity with complex sales incentive compensation plans, including plan structures and rollouts, performance metrics, quotas, commission concepts, crediting methodologies, accelerators, thresholds, governance, and MBO-based performance mechanics.
• Previous experience with Xactly Incent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to convey complex and sensitive compensation topics to senior leaders, frontline managers, and individual contributors.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, and business reporting tools.
• Committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information assets.
• Responsible for ensuring employee and customer data privacy and completing necessary privacy training.
