Inbound Sales Specialist – Part Time Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Handle incoming leads from form submissions and calls.

• Initiate proactive outreach to current and past customers to encourage service utilization.

• Provide service quotes through phone, SMS, and email communication.

• Assist customers in navigating the online portal for booking their moves.

• Advocate for additional services and upgrades.

• Generate customer referrals.

• Act as a consultative resource for customers needing assistance with student move-in, move-out, storage, and shipping options.

• Help customers understand and adopt the services offered by Storage Scholars.

• Outstanding communication skills with a strong sales orientation.

• Excellent critical thinking abilities.

• Capacity to adapt to rapid changes and manage heavy workloads.

• Confident phone demeanor.

• High emotional intelligence to relate to both team members and clients.

• Proficient with technology and quick to learn new software.

• Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in customer-facing roles, such as retail, hospitality, or customer service.

• Availability to work 15–25 hours per week on average, with potential for up to 40 hours per week during the busy March–May period.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required during peak season (March–September).
