Inbound Patient Account Services Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of CVS Specialty processes and how customer service influences a patient's experience from order through to reimbursement.

• Assist patients in navigating intricate billing and reimbursement procedures.

• Foster trusting relationships with patients through engaging and pertinent conversations.

• Handle challenging or emotional situations while promptly addressing patient needs.

• Accurately document each interaction in the relevant Revenue Cycle system.

• Record, assess, follow up on, and resolve patient concerns.

• Collect and analyze patient information to establish eligibility for payment plans.

• Achieve call center targets, including call volume and quality metrics.

• Utilize technology to communicate with other departments within CVS Specialty.

• Maintain an outgoing, enthusiastic, professional, and compassionate demeanor over the phone.

• Identify and report potential trends to leadership for evaluation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement, collections practices, and/or infusion services.

• Proficient in computer usage, with at least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Strong written and verbal customer service skills.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Ability to provide emotional support and demonstrate empathy.

• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate business requirements, including 8-hour shifts from 8:00am to 8:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.

• A verifiable high school diploma or GED is required.
