In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health assessments at the residences of members.

• Interact individually with individuals to address health inquiries during approximately 45-minute visits.

• Review patients' medications and medical histories.

• Carry out physical examinations.

• Perform additional diagnostic and preventive tests as ordered, such as diabetic eye exams, spirometry, and bone density screenings.

• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflow for each evaluation.

• Conduct virtual visits as necessary.

• Deliver Signify Health services and Diagnostic & Preventive Services products.

• Travel locally and within licensed states, which may involve overnight hotel accommodations, car rentals, and/or flights.

• Establish trusted relationships and assist in bridging gaps in care.

• Make referrals to health plans and encourage the involvement of members’ family and friends.

• Ensure primary care physicians are informed about members’ health status and quality of life.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining multi-state licenses in the coverage area as required.

• MD or DO degree.

• Ability to safely and comfortably perform duties in homes with household pets, secondhand smoke, and potential airborne allergens or irritants.

• Willingness and capability to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within a specified coverage area.

• Capacity to conduct virtual visits when necessary.

• Proficient in using an iPad and an intuitive clinical workflow.

• Competent in performing medication and medical history reviews, physical evaluations, and additional diagnostic tests when required.
