In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health assessments for members in their residences.

• Interact individually with members to address health inquiries.

• Examine medications and review medical history.

• Carry out physical evaluations.

• Administer additional diagnostic tests as prescribed, such as diabetic eye examinations, spirometry, and bone density assessments.

• Utilize an iPad and follow clinical workflows for each evaluation.

• Facilitate virtual consultations as necessary.

• Deliver Signify Health services, encompassing Diagnostic & Preventive Services products.

• Travel locally and within licensed states.

• Establish reliable relationships and contribute to enhancing health outcomes.

• Make referrals to health plans and promote the involvement of members’ family members when suitable.

• Ensure that primary care physicians are informed about the health status and quality of life of members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Capable of acquiring and maintaining multi-state licenses in the coverage area, as necessary.

• Hold MD or DO credentials.

• Comfortable and capable of performing duties in homes with household pets, secondhand smoke, and potential airborne allergens or irritants.

• Willing to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% of the time, which may include overnight stays in hotels, car rentals, and/or flights.

• Capable of conducting virtual visits as required.
