In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Conduct health assessments in the comfort of members’ homes.

• Establish rapport with members to enhance health results.

• Perform visits lasting approximately 45 minutes.

• Review patients’ medications and medical backgrounds.

• Execute physical health evaluations.

• Carry out additional diagnostic tests as directed by the health plan, such as diabetic eye examinations, spirometry, and bone density assessments.

• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflow for each assessment.

• Facilitate virtual visits when necessary.

• Deliver Signify Health services, including Diagnostic and Preventive Services.

• Refer members to their health plans and promote the involvement of their family members.

• Keep primary care physicians informed about members’ health and quality of life.

• Travel locally and within licensed states, which may involve overnight hotel accommodations, car rentals, and flights.

• Become part of a nationwide network of healthcare professionals serving patients across the country.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining multi-state licenses in the necessary coverage area, as required.

• Comfortable and capable of performing duties in homes that may have pets, secondhand smoke, and airborne allergens or irritants.

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Availability for extensive travel, potentially up to 100% of the time.

• Ability to conduct virtual visits as required.

• MD or DO qualification as specified in the required and preferred qualifications.

• Expected to work 40 hours per week.
