In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Conduct health assessments in the homes of members

• Interact directly with members to address health inquiries

• Evaluate medications and review medical histories

• Execute physical examinations

• Carry out additional diagnostic tests as directed by the health plan, such as diabetic eye exams, spirometry, and bone density assessments

• Utilize an iPad and follow a clinical workflow for each assessment

• Facilitate virtual consultations as required

• Offer Signify Health Diagnostic & Preventive Services products

• Travel locally and within the states where licensed

• Foster trustworthy relationships and contribute to improved health outcomes

• Recommend members to their health plans and encourage the involvement of family members when suitable

• Keep primary care physicians informed about members’ health and overall quality of life

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage areas

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining multi-state licenses in the necessary coverage areas

• Medical degree qualifications as an MD or DO

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states

• Competence to perform tasks safely in homes with pets, secondhand smoke, and possible airborne allergens or irritants

• Capability to conduct virtual consultations when required

• Proficiency in using an iPad and an intuitive clinical workflow

• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time, including potential overnight stays in hotels, car rentals, and/or flights

• Multiple state licenses as needed by business requirements
